Morocco/Western Sahara

I have been travelling to Western Sahara (Morocco) to study the bird and mammalian fauna of the area since 2006. In that first year I was part of a small team that discovered the first breeding Dunn's Larks for Morocco (see Publications).

Since then I have set up an ongoing project looking into bat communities in the region whist continuing my ongoing search for the last population of Serval north of the Sahara.

In 2010 I was part of a team that confirmed the continuing presence of a population of Atlantic Hump-backed Dolphins at their most northerly global outpost, in Dakhla Bay.
